Favorite Books of All Time : Reading has always been an integral part of my life, from devouring library books as a child, to discovering teen fiction at age 12. Since that momentous discovery, reading remained my go-to hobby!
1) Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone
Favorite Books Its In my mind, the Harry Potter series will always remain my favorite series of books ever written. I have read all eight volumes so often that the pages have worn away and corners bent from being read so often. Growing up alongside Harry, Ron, and Hermione brought cheering, crying, laughing and cheerleading for these unforgettable characters and these books hold an extra special place in my heart – they ignited a love of reading that I will never forget!
2) The Hunger Games
Hunger Games is one of the most unique books I have read. I enjoy the way the story is told through the eyes of a girl forced to kill other teens to save her own life – making for a captivating tale about rebellion, friendship, and finding inner strength through challenging circumstances.
3) The Fault In Our Stars
John Green’s Fault in Our Stars is an emotionally engaging novel. I adored how he masterfully told the tale of an terminally ill girl falling for an unaware normal boy who doesn’t realize she has an incurable disease – making you laugh and cry all at the same time; never will you forget Augustus, Hazel, or Isaac from their unforgettable story!
4) The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a coming-of-age tale about a boy struggling to find his place in life. The film explores first love, friendship and finding one’s niche within society. Additionally, this tale stresses being true to yourself while never fearing chasing after your dreams, all while exploring growing up and finding oneself within this ever-evolving society.
5) Looking For Alaska
Looking for Alaska is another story about finding yourself, though in a different way. Instead of making the most of each moment we have here on earth and not wasting it away, this tale depicts finding your place within communities, friendships and in life itself; one which will remain relevant throughout my lifetime.
6) Six Of Crows
Never have I come across such an unforgettable cast as that found within Leigh Bardugo’s Six of Crow’s crew. Each character was so vivid, from their personal relationships to how a misfit like Jack found comfort within each other – I found their stories compellingly written. I also loved her universe where these events took place!
7) Pride And Prejudice
Pride and Prejudice has always been my favourite novel, ever since I can remember. A timeless classic first published in 1813, Pride and Prejudice tells the tale of growing up and finding one’s place in society through love, friendship and overturning prejudice – as well as believing in oneself and never giving up.
8) Confessions Of A Shopaholic
If you enjoyed Shopaholics, read Confessions of a Shopaholic for something equally delightful. This novella tells of a girl discovering herself by learning who she really is while letting go of what used to define her and by building meaningful relationships and finding their footing in life – an entertaining tale I find myself returning to again and again!
9) The Lunar Chronicles
Picture Credit: The Lunar Chronicles is an amazing science fiction retelling of four fairy tales. I love how the author skillfully interweaves each tale into one seamless tale – revolution, strength-finding in times of trouble, friendship and finding your place in this world are all themes explored here.
10) The Art Of Hearing ~ Words And Music. 3 3 3 3 3
3 3 3 3 is a beautiful collection of poetry by John W. Boileau, also an accomplished musician. I adore how these verses flow seamlessly together like songs to read – truly some of my most stunningly beautiful reading experiences ever! They will remain close to my heart forever more!
