25. Swiss Air – San Francisco
To commemorate the launch of its Zurich-San Francisco direct flight route, Swiss Air showcased a plane with a San Francisco-inspired look. This visually striking and vivacious design included peace signs, musical notes, love hearts and words written in a hippie-style font and shade. It took eight people and three days to paint the plane.
26. Westjet — Frozen
To give the plane an artistic touch of the characters from the Disney movie “Frozen” (Anna, Elsa and Olaf), Westjet Airlines, working in conjunction with Disney, managed to bring the concept to life by using 23 distinct colors of paint in a total of 170 gallons.
The inside of the aircraft was also given a wintery atmosphere in the rear, which then transformed into a warmer and sunny feel near the front.
27. Jackson Pollock’s Plane
This is an uncommon and extraordinary private aircraft that you will rarely come across.
